Terms and Conditions


We are grateful that you have chosen Beeline Auto Transport LLC to transport your vehicle. By selecting our services, you, and the individual or company you represent, agree to abide by all of the terms and conditions outlined in this document. In the event of a discrepancy between these terms and conditions and any other documents, including motor carrier bills of lading, tariffs or service guides, these terms and conditions shall take precedence and serve as the governing rules between you and Beeline Auto Transport LLC. It is important to note that these terms and conditions may not be altered by anyone besides Beeline Auto Transport LLC.

Beeline Auto Transport LLC a registered, licensed, and bonded property broker (MC1606350) operating under the U.S. Department of Transportation. By agreeing to our terms, you acknowledge that we have the right to assign contracts or orders to our certified, insured subcontracted motor carriers.


Customer Warranties

The customer warrants that they will comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and rules; including but not limited to the regulation of any country through which the shipment is carried. The customer agrees to provide all necessary information and documents to adhere to these applicable laws, regulations, and rules. Failure to comply with this provision by the customer may result in Beeline Auto Transport LLC being held harmless for any loss or expense. Moreover, any entity acting on behalf of the customer warrants that it has the right to act on behalf of the customer and the ability to legally bind the customer.

Indemnification

To protect Beeline Auto Transport LLC and our affiliates, our employees, officers, and directors, the customer agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold us harmless from any losses, liabilities, damages, payments, settlements, judgments, penalties, fines, expenses, suits, actions, and claims. This includes damages to property, injuries, and death of persons or entities, as well as any claim liability and damages. These claims may arise from the acts or omissions of the customer, their agents, employees, or representatives.


I. Services

By Agreeing to these terms and conditions, the customer acknowledges that:

  1. When signing this contract, the customer confirms that they are either the registered owner or an authorized agent of the owner, responsible for making arrangements for the transportation of the owner’s vehicle(s).
  2. Upon request, Beeline Auto Transport LLC will arrange transportation for the customer’s shipping order with carriers, based on these terms and conditions.
  3. Beeline Auto Transport LLC reserves the right to reject or cancel any order at its discretion.
  4. The services provided by Beeline Auto Transport LLC are considered completed when a Carrier agrees to the customer’s order.
  5. Beeline Auto Transport LLC
    1. is only a transportation broker,
    2. is not a motor carrier or transporter, and
    3. does not claim to offer property transportation services.
  6. Beeline Auto Transport LLC never takes custody or possession of, transports, or handles the customer’s shipment, or holds any responsibility for the shipment.
  7. All transportation arranged by Beeline Auto Transport LLC will be subject to the terms and conditions of the carrier’s bill of lading, tariff, schedules, rates, and rules. Carriers provide limited liability coverage for loss or damage, and the customer must inquire with the carrier about purchasing additional insurance.

I.A Pickup & Delivery

  1. Beeline Auto Transport LLC will provide the customer with an estimated pickup and estimated delivery date, but delays may occur before and/or during transport due to weather or road conditions, government regulations, mechanical issues, and other factors beyond the control of Beeline Auto Transport LLC. It’s important to note that Beeline Auto Transport LLC cannot guarantee delivery dates or times and is not liable for any losses or expenses caused by delays of any kind or for any reason.
  2. Beeline Auto Transport LLC cannot guarantee a specific driver or carrier for the customer’s shipment.
  3. According to commercial truck restrictions, the driver or carrier cannot pick up or drop off the customer’s vehicle or shipment at residential locations, except for trailers. Instead, they will meet the customer at a nearby commercial truck-friendly location, such as Walmart, Target, Home Depot, or Lowe’s, to load and unload.
  4. Port pickups and deliveries may incur additional fees. The customer must inform the transport agent if they require a port pickup or delivery.
  5. If the customer is unavailable to release and/or accept vehicle/shipment delivery, they must assign someone on their behalf and inform Beeline Auto Transport LLC of who that person will be.
  6. If neither the customer nor the assigned person is available to receive the vehicle/shipment, the customer may be charged a rescheduling fee, in addition to storage and re-delivery fees.
  7. Customers are responsible for preparing their vehicle/shipment for transport, which includes removing any racks or luggage, unless specified by the transport agent. The vehicle must be in good running condition, unless noted otherwise on the shipping order form. Customers are advised to have the gas tank filled at a quarter capacity. In case the vehicle/shipment is not prepared, the customer may have to pay $100 per hour standby fee, applicable after the first hour.
  8. Customers are accountable for any damage or loss caused by an attached or loose part of the vehicle/shipment to an object or person.
  9. Beeline Auto Transport LLC assumes no responsibility for any mechanical or operational vehicle parts.
  10. At pickup, alarms must be disarmed, or the customer should provide instructions on how to disarm the alarm to the transport agent and driver/carrier. The driver/carrier is authorized to silence or disable the alarm in the event of an alarm going off.
  11. During the booking process and before the pickup date, the customer must inform Beeline Auto Transport LLC of the shipment’s size and condition.
  12. If the vehicle/shipment is different than expected in terms of number, dimensions, condition, etc., the customer is liable for a rescheduling fee, cancellation fee, or rate adjustment.
  13. Carrier will be responsible for the pickup and delivery of the customer’s shipment as near as possible to the designated point of origin and destination, while adhering to legal and safety standards. The shipment will be transported in a commercially viable manner.
  14. Carrier may provide a carrier form, receipt, or Bill of Lading at the point of origin and/or destination. The customer or their representative must carefully review the carrier form, as it may serve as a transportation contract between the two parties. Any disputes or questions regarding the documents must be addressed directly with the carrier.
  15. The carrier’s terms and conditions and bill of lading/inspection report apply to the order.
  16. Before pickup and delivery, the driver/carrier and customer must meticulously inspect the vehicle/shipment and document any pre-existing damage on the bill of lading/inspection report. The condition of the vehicle/shipment must be acknowledged at both locations by both parties.
  17. If the driver/carrier does not have a bill of lading/inspection report, it is solely the customer’s responsibility to request a copy before pickup and delivery. The customer can choose to ship the vehicle/shipment without a copy of the bill of lading/inspection report.

I.B Payment

  1. Beeline Auto Transport LLC offers a 30-day price lock for shipping quotes. During this period, we will lock in the customer’s pricing, even if the current market rate rises. If the customer’s shipping date falls outside of the 30-day window, the pricing is subject to change based on the impact of supply and demand.
  2. The payment method for the deposit is credit card.
  3. The remaining balance is due upon delivery (C.O.D). Only cash or certified bank checks are acceptable as payment for the remaining balance. These checks must be made payable to the assigned driver/carrier.
  4. Failure to pay the remaining balance in the form of cash or a certified bank check made payable to the assigned driver/carrier may result in the vehicle/shipment being stored.
  5. If the customer is unable to pay the remaining balance using the approved payment methods or receive the vehicle/shipment, storage and re-delivery fees will be the customer’s responsibility.

I.C Personal Belongings

  1. As per regulations set forth by the Department of Transportation, it is not allowed for auto carriers to transport household goods or personal belongings while transporting vehicles.
  2. Beeline Auto Transport LLC cannot be held responsible for any personal item loss or damage caused during the vehicle’s transportation.
  3. Customers are required to remove or disable toll pass devices from all vehicles. Please note that Beeline Auto Transport LLC cannot be held accountable for any toll charges incurred as a result of toll pass devices being left in vehicles.
  4. The customer is prohibited from leaving illegal items or contraband such as but not limited to firearms, live pets, explosives, ammunition, or money inside the vehicle/shipment. The carrier may refuse the transportation of vehicles/shipments that contain such items.

I.D Inoperable, Oversized, Modified, or Vehicles/Shipments

  1. The customer must inform Beeline Auto Transport LLC of the shipment of inoperable, oversized, or modified vehicles during the booking process and before the pickup date.
  2. Additional costs apply to inoperable/non-running, vehicles/shipments. If a rollback or tow is required, the customer is solely responsible for the associated fees.
  3. If Beeline Auto Transport LLC is not informed of the shipment of inoperable, oversized, or modified vehicles, the carrier may refuse to transport the shipment and Beeline Auto Transport reserves the right to cancel the order.
  4. If the carrier agrees to transport the vehicle/shipment in the above event, responsibility for transport fees falls on the customer. All costs are due upon delivery to the driver/carrier.
  5. If the vehicle is inoperable before pickup or becomes inoperable during transit, and it is not mentioned on the shipping order form, the customer is responsible for the transport fees for inoperable vehicles.
  6. Beeline Auto Transport LLC is not liable for any inoperable/non-running fees if the vehicle becomes inoperable/non-running before pickup or during transit.
  7. Beeline Auto Transport LLC cannot be held accountable for any additional fees related to oversize or modified shipments.

I.E Damages

  1. Beeline Auto Transport LLC acts as a property transportation broker and does not assume liability for cargo loss or damage claims for any reason.
  2. Customers who have a claim for loss or damage to a shipment must understand that the carrier is liable, not Beeline Auto Transport LLC. It is the customer’s responsibility to file claims directly with the carrier who transported the shipment.
  3. In the event that the customer chooses to file an insurance claim, the customer must understand that Beeline Auto Transport LLC is not responsible for any deductibles in the carrier’s insurance policy. The customer is responsible for any such deductibles.
  4. In the event of any negligent damage during shipping, the customer are not to sign or accept the vehicle/shipment. Before signing any paperwork or accepting the vehicle/shipment, the customer must notify Beeline Auto Transport LLC by way of phone.
  5. If a customer chooses to file a claim against the carrier, the claim must be reported to Beeline Auto Transport LLC within 48 hours of delivery. This allows Beeline Auto Transport LLC to provide the customer with the necessary documents concerning the carrier in a commercially reasonable manner.
  6. At both pickup and delivery, it is the customer’s responsibility to inspect the vehicle/shipment thoroughly. Any vehicle/shipment damage that can be linked to negligence by the assigned driver/carrier must be detailed in the bill of lading/inspection report. Regardless of weather conditions or time of day, both the driver/carrier and customer must acknowledge the damage.
  7. A signed bill of lading/inspection report without damage notations confirms that the customer and/or assigned person has received the vehicle/shipment in the same condition as it was at pickup. This relieves Beeline Auto Transport LLC and its agents of any further responsibility.
  8. To initiate any motion on the issue, the customer should submit a detailed bill of lading/inspection report of the negligent damage directly to the driver’s/carrier’s office in writing within five days of accepting the vehicle/shipment. Attached clear images/pictures of the damage and a couple of estimates. Beeline Auto Transport LLC will support the customer in good faith in the event of an issue.
  9. Beeline Auto Transport LLC is not liable for any negligence of the assigned subcontract driver/carrier.
  10. For vehicles/shipments whose values exceed the general market value, Beeline Auto Transport LLC advises the customer purchase an insurance rider.
  11. Beeline Auto Transport LLC is not liable for any damages caused by acts of God, weather conditions, or worn parts of the vehicle/shipment. The customer should maintain insurance for this purpose.

II. Refund and Cancellation Policy

  1. The customer can cancel the shipping order at any time before the vehicle or shipping order is assigned to a carrier at no cost. We will inform the customer by email or phone when a carrier has been assigned to the shipping order.
  2. All cancellations must be made by phone and email to our branch before the vehicle or shipment is assigned to a carrier in order to be entitled to a refund of the deposit.
  3. If the customer cancels after a carrier has been assigned and the deposit has already been charged, the deposit will not be refundable. We impose this fee to compensate for services already rendered by Beeline Auto Transport LLC. In some cases, the deposit may be converted into credit for the customer’s account, subject to the approval of a customer service representative.
  4. The customer may also be subject to additional cancellation fees, such as a dry run fee, imposed by the Carrier or other vendors contracted to fulfill the shipping order.
  5. If the customer paid for additional services that were not fulfilled due to any reason but the Shipment was delivered, the customer is entitled to a refund for the unfulfilled portion of the Additional Services fees.
  6. Please note that Beeline Auto Transport LLC reserves the right to cancel an order at any time.

III. Liability Disclaimer

Please note that the following exclusions are standard business practices of the auto transportation industry. As such, neither Beeline Auto Transport LLC nor the carrier will be responsible for the following:

  1. Any damage to undercarriage, exhaust system, suspension, wheel bearings, tie-downs, brakes, alignment, tuning, charging system or battery, as there is no evaluation made of these components or systems at the pickup location.
  2. Any damage not detected at the pickup location due to poor weather or lighting conditions.
  3. Any damage to car phones or antennas under any condition. (We suggest that they be removed).
  4. Loss of or damage to audio or video equipment not installed at the factory, including antennas that do not retract to within 3 inches of the vehicle body.
  5. Any damage or fines incurred because the Shipper left personal or household items in the vehicle.
  6. Any damage caused by fluids or objects flying up from the roadway or the sky.
  7. Any damage to cloth or vinyl convertible or decorative tops over 2 years old.
  8. Any damage to T-tops, boots, bras, caps, or any other type of canvas covering.
  9. Any damage caused by vandalism during transport.
  10. Any damage caused by leaking fluids, such as battery acid, motor oil, transmission fluid, brake fluid, power steering fluid, radiator coolant, or fallout resulting from acts of God.
  11. Any damage caused by freezing of the cooling system and/or battery.
  12. Any damage caused by the failure of factory tie-downs or pull-through frame tie-down holes.
  13. Any damage to, or caused by, any vehicle that cannot be driven on or off the transport under its own power (Vehicle is inoperative or has lost its braking system).

IV. Claims

Please take note that these terms govern the process for bringing claims between you and Beeline Auto Transport LLC. Unless otherwise specified, you will be required to submit any claims against Beeline Auto Transport LLC to binding and final arbitration on an individual basis. This means that you cannot pursue a legal claim against Beeline Auto Transport LLC as part of a class, group, or representative action. For more information, please refer to Section 12 of the agreement which outlines the details of the arbitration process.

  1. Any disagreement, claim, or controversy arising from these terms and conditions, performance or breach thereof, shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Los Angeles County in California.
  2. The customer acknowledges and agrees to waive any right to jurisdiction of this matter at any other location other than Los Angeles, California.
  3. Beeline Auto Transport LLC is not responsible for any damage caused by subcontracted drivers or carriers.
  4. Our liability is limited to the deposit amount quoted to the customer when assigning the customer’s order to a carrier.

V. Miscellaneous

  1. The use of Beeline Auto Transport LLC’s services or any provision in these terms and conditions should not be interpreted to indicate either party as a partner, joint venturer, employee or agent of the other. Neither party is authorized to incur, assume or create any warranty or liability on behalf of the other, in writing or otherwise. It is the intention of both parties to remain independent contractors accountable for their own actions.
  2. The customer is not authorized to assign any rights under these terms and conditions without the prior written consent of Beeline Auto Transport LLC, except where expressly stated. These terms and conditions are binding for both parties, as well as their respective successors and authorized assigns.
  3. In the event that a provision in these terms and conditions is deemed unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, the provision will be restricted or removed to the minimum extent required to maintain the full force and effect of these terms and conditions.
  4. These terms and conditions override any previous written or oral agreements and serve as the complete and final agreement between the Customer and Beeline Auto Transport LLC. Only Beeline Auto Transport LLC is authorized to alter the terms. By proceeding with the transaction, the Customer confirms acknowledgment and full comprehension of these terms and conditions.
  5. In addition to the terms and conditions stated in this document, customers may also be subject to other regulations, such as posted policies (including the Privacy Policy), guidelines, or rules when using Beeline Auto Transport LLC’s services.
  6. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, the customer waives any claims or defenses that stem from not having read, known, or understood the document in its entirety.
  7. The failure of Beeline Auto Transport LLC to enforce any right or provision outlined in these terms and conditions does not mean that they waive the right or provision. Any waiver of these terms and conditions by Beeline Auto Transport LLC must be in writing and authorized by a representative of Beeline Auto Transport LLC.
  8. Beeline Auto Transport LLC reserves the right to use the names of its customers and identifiers such as its name, logo, and trademarks for marketing and promotional purposes on its own website and in communication and collateral materials provided to existing or potential customers, partners, and investors.
